Celsius to Fahrenheit Converter - C to F / F to C

Although there are several other projects I should have been working on, I wanted to play around with Ajax and PHP a little. I am always converting temperature from F to C for my Canadian friends. I uploaded a Celsius to Fahrenheit Converter today. Simply enter in a numerical value in either of the two fields, and the C to F / F to C conversion will happen ajaxmatically.

Location Update - Vancouver, Washington - Portland Oregon

The railroad has me on the move again. I have been in Vancouver Washington a couple of days now (but staying on the Portland, Oregon side. )
I wish I could be out this way all year round. It is beautiful country compared to the Mid-West. I may be on the move tomorrow morning. Where? I am not sure yet. I will keep you posted.

Motel 6 - Sneaky Sneaky against Smokers

Today, I checked into a fairly decent (for the money) Motel 6 today in Northern Oregon. Typically, I request non-smoking rooms (even though I have a tendancy to smoke a little.) Non-smoking rooms don’t smell near as bad, there are not burns through the covers, etc.
I was suprised to see an ashtray in my room. Also posted in the room were a couple of signs warning you not to smoke and that the fine is $250.00.
Inquisitively, when I went outside to smoke, I asked the night clerk what the reasoning behind the ashtrays were. She said “Oh, they are a trick ashtray.” A trick ashtray. Ok, this is a first. I asked her to explain. She said “If someone decides to smoke in the room, they typically will use the ashtray. The sticker (non-smoking sticker on the bottom) will roll up and we will know that someone smoked in their room.”
Wow. I guess, even if the ashtray is cleaned out, this sticker is permanently destroyed. Good thing I choose to go outside.

Travels have finally took me to the west coast. I am currently in Bellingham, Washington, but soon to be heading towards Vancouver, Washington / Portland Oregon.
It was great to get up to the North West. I had a chance to visit with my darling little angel Emily. I miss her way too much. It’s very hard to live a life without regrets. If only I had more time to be with her.
